13th-time champions league winners Real Madrid will face Liverpool in the final that will be held in Paris, France. This is after beating Manchester city 3-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu. Substitute player Rodrigyo’s comeback brace cancelled Riyad Mahrez’s goal in the 90th minute and Karim Benzema scored a penalty that secured Real Madrid’s final slot.
This will not be just a final for Liverpool but an opportunity to revenge for their 2018 loss in Turkey where Liverpool’s main man Mohammed Salah was injured by Sergio Ramos and mistakes by Liverpool goalkeeper Karius lead to a 3-1 defeat. Since then Liverpool has undergone a successful transformation under their coach Jurgen Kloop and they clinched the Champions League trophy the following year followed by a premier league title.
This year Liverpool has already clinched the carabao cup and will face rivals, Chelsea, in the FA final as they keep on the EPL chase where they trail by one point before meeting Real Madrid. On the other hand, Real Madrid has already won the La Liga trophy.
