Manchester United legend and Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville has criticised Red devils academy graduate Jesse Lingard over his absolute disgrace’ claims after Ralf Rangnick never played him in their last home game this season at Old Trafford, where Manchester United won 3-0. Jesse is expected to live in Manchester United at the end of the season
.
On Saturday, Manchester United was humiliated by Brighton Albion, where they lost 4-0 at the Amex stadium. This defeat affirmed that they could not qualify for the champions league and possibly lose the Europa league slot to West Ham United. Neville admitted that most players in the United team need to go and mocked Lingard’s response.
“The nonsense this week over Jesse Lingard… Jesse has been at the club for a long time, he has done a good job for the club but I saw Bryan Robson and Steve Bruce not play in their last games for the club and not get a send off in cup finals.’ One of them is probably the most outstanding captain Manchester United has ever had and the other is one of the greatest Manchester united captains Manchester united ever had….and they didn’t get send offs, they wanted the farewell from the fans. I’m not quite sure why Jesse Lingard deserves it’.’ Stated Neville.
