Liverpool has received a massive blow as Midfielder Fabinho is set to miss the FA Cup final against Chelsea on Saturday and the rest of the two premier league games against Wolves and Southampton.
The Brazillian talisman was forced to come out after being injured during the Aston Villa game and replaced by Jordan Henderson, who is likely to replace him in the remaining games as Liverpool hopes he will be fit before the champions league final against Real Madrid on 28th May in Paris.
Fabinho has played an essential role in the Liverpool midfield alongside Thiago and Henderson. This injury may bring instability and the Keita, Thiago and Henderson trio midfield hasn’t been the best. Milner will also be considered a replacement option.
Fabinho played a critical role in Liverpool’s Carabao win against Chelsea in May, where he helped the team neutralize Chelsea’s fast-midfield comprising of Kante and Kovacic. He also scored a fantastic Panenka penalty. Chelsea will also be without Kovacic.
