Thiago likely to return for the UCL finals

Liverpool is hoping that the Spaniard midfielder, Thiago may return for the champions league final against Real Madrid after he suffered an injury against the Wolves on Sunday. He sustained an Achilles injury just before half-time but the Liverpool’s medical staff are hopeful he can make the squad this weekend.

Thiago is part of Liverpool’s formidable midfielder alongside Henderson and Fabinho who also suffered an injury but he is set to be back for the finals. Thiago was also forced out during the carabao cup and he was later shown in tears on the bench.

He has undergone several scans and the Liverpool staff indicates that they are optimistic that he will be fit soon but on the hand, It is unclear how many training sessions the two-time Champions League-winning midfielder will manage. Usually, Jurgen Klopp prefers his players to have at least two days of training before qualifying to be on the matchday squad.
