Former National Resistance Movement[NRM] self-proclaimed general Miguna Miguna has hinted that he is returning to Kenya and he will be attending Mashujaa Day. In a photo shared on 19th October, he was at Dubai Airport on his way back to Kenya after being deported to Canada in 2018.
Miguna Miguna was a staunch supporter of Raila Odinga’s NRM movement and was part of the team that swore in Raila Odinga as the people’s president. He was arrested and forcefully deported to Canada. His return was thwarted by Uhuru Kenyatta’s government, which issued red Alerts and he could not jet back to the country.
After the 2018 handshake between Raila Odinga and former president Uhuru Kenyatta, Miguna became a fierce critic of the duo and openly supported William Ruto. He clinched the seat to become the fifth president of Kenya. Fortunately, President William Ruto lifted the red alerts issued against Miguna and now he has been invited to the Mashujaa Day celebrations. It has been a long wait, but finally, Miguna Miguna is back.
