Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will look forward to his 400th game in charge of the Reds tonight at Anfield in the Champions League group stages game versus leaders Napoli. He joined Liverpool in 2015 from Borussia Dortmund and has been able to transform the reds into one of the European elite teams.

Klopp has won the Champions League. Super cup, FA, league cup, community shield, not forgetting Liverpool’s first English premier league after 30 years. He faces a solid Napoli team that defeated his side 4-0 in the first leg.

“it means a lot, unfortunately  we lost no.397 and no.399; that feels really bad, to be honest,” Klopp said

”But in general, and how we all know, that’s a number that I don’t expect the next 20 managers of Liverpool will reach as well because it’s pretty special, I know that, what we achieved over the years.”

“It just doesn’t feel in the moment like that, but it’s no problem, the number is still impressive. I’m very grateful that I was allowed to do that. But how can you imagine? I’m much more interested in the next 200,300; I’m not sure, 400and then we can talk- let me say it like this. But thank you very much, it’s a big number and I’m kind of proud of it.” stated Klopp.

Liverpool who lost to Leeds United on Saturday will be hoping to bounce back tonight as Vigil van Dirk will register his 200th Liverpool appearance, as Trent Alexander Arnold will register his 50th European appearance.
