The inaugural edition of the TESPOK Autism Half Marathon will be taking place this Sunday, the 27th of November. From the announcement by TESPOK(Technology Service Providers of Kenya) and KEHNA and KURA, there will be traffic disruption on some of the major roads in the City.
This year’s edition will see the main category of 21km for both genders; Autistic children will have their chance to compete in a 2km with wheelchairs as the main aim of the Marathon is to raise awareness and love with those with such conditions.
“As part of its commitment to this course, TESPOK will endeavor to spearhead this initiative to reduce stigma albeit creating more awareness and understanding on Autism across Kenya,” Stated Fiona Asonga, CEO of TESPOK.
Here is the list of city roads which will be closed on Sunday 27th, from 1 am to 1:30 pm.
