Ezekiel Mutua, the chief executive officer of the music copyright society of Kenya [MCSK] has offered to help musician Colonel Mustafa after he hit the headlines while working on a construction site popularly known as Mjengo.
He promised to offer financial assistance to Mustafa and his mother, who is currently ailing from cancer, and lawyers that will enable the artist to recover money generated from his music over the years.
Ezekiel promised to help him get back to the music industry.
”Don’t take back Colonel Mustafa to music hoping that he will make another hit song. It doesn’t work that way. It doesn’t work backwards. Mustafa going back to the studio is like taking DNA back to the studios with hopes that something like Banjuka will come out!”
