Karim Benzema Heads to Saudi Arabia

Real Madrid talisman Karim Benzema scored his last goal for the Spanish club as Real Madrid was held a 1-1 draw by Atletic Club. The club announced that it was Benzema’s last game after 14 years at Bernabeu.

Benzema will now join Saudi Arabia’s Al-ittihad.He is the current Ballon d’Or winner. The Frenchman will join his former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia, as the league tends to convince high-profile football stars to join it.

Real Madrid will be forced to replace Benzema as reports indicate that they are interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane, and Chelsea’s Kai Harvetz, among other popular players, as they have gotten rid of Mariano Diaz, Eden Hazard and Marco Asensio.

Benzema will sign up to 2025 with an option of another year.
