Social media influencer Azziad Nasenya once again is the talk of the town after a section of netizens discovered that she was wearing shoes that were similar to those worn by the cabinet secretary for youth affairs, sports and arts.
The cabinet secretary appointed Azziad to the government’sTalanta Hela initiative, where she served alongside Churchill, Akothee, Wahu, Jimmy Gathu, and Catherine Kamau among others. However, the appointment was heavily criticized especially by Blogger and Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai who raised concerns over the appointment.
I love and respect Azziad.
However, I don’t know her competence.
Beyond TikTok dancing, I don’t understand what serious thing she knows about creative economy or even identifying talent.
We have enough Kenyans who know much more about this.
