Social Media influencer Andrew Kibe had ranted that he had spent an estimated 500,000 Kenyan shillings to attend Sauti Sol’s concert in the United States. Despite communicating with Sauti Sol’s promoter, Kibe could not meet the Suati Sol crew as the promoter claimed that the all-boys music band wasn’t interested.
On his daily live podcast on youtube, Kibe ranted that Sauti Sol deliberately refused to meet him. HeI has been an ardent critic of Sauti Sol.
In an interview, Sauti Sol’s been denied knowing Andrew Kibe, like Savara, who was on Tiktok Live, also denied knowing him. Kibe responded by saying that the two were pretending.
Sauti Sol had indicated that after the world tour of music concerts, they would take a break after 18 years of rocking the airwaves and taking Kenyan music to the global level. Most of their fans were surprised by this move and hoped that the group would reconsider the decision.
