Russia’s president Vladimir Putin has reacted to trhe Wagner military group’s attempted coup as a lethal threat to the country and urged people to unite.
“Any internal turmoil is a leathal threat to our statehood and to us as a nation. This is a blow to Russia and to our people,” This battle, when the fate of our people is being decided, requires the unification of all forces and unity.” Putin said while addressing the media.

Putin acknowledged that it is a tough situation as a and it may be a threat to the nation bearing in mind that Russia is at war with Ukraine. The Wagner group had taken control of the key military sites to clinch the military’s top brass.
“There will be decisive measures taken on stabilising the situation in Rostov-on-Do, It remains difficult and the work of civil and military authorities in fact is being blocked.”
