Moses Kiarie Kuria is a Kenyan politician who has served as the Cabinet Secretary for Investments, Trade and Industry since 2022. Moses Kuria was born on March 2, 1971, in Gatundu, Kenya. He is the son of Kiarie Kuria and Joyce Kuria. Kuria’s father was a businessman and his mother was a teacher. Kuria attended local schools in Gatundu, including Githuya Primary School and Ituru Secondary School.

After graduating from high school, Kuria went on to study law at the University of Nairobi. He graduated from the university in 1993 with a Bachelor of Laws degree.

After graduating from law school, Kuria worked as a lawyer for a few years. He then went on to work as a businessman. Kuria’s businesses included a transport company and a real estate company.

Moses Kuria is a family man and he has married Joyce Njambi ,the couple has been blessed with two sons.

Political Career

Moses Kuria’s political career began in 2012. He was elected to the National Assembly of Kenya as the Member of Parliament for Gatundu South. Kuria was re-elected to the National Assembly in 2017.

In the National Assembly, Kuria served on several committees, including the Committee on Finance, the Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs, and the Committee on National Security. Kuria was also a member of the Jubilee Alliance, a political party that was formed in 2013.
