Many people may think that the tallest genes are only found in South Sudan, but here is the story of Turkish Farmer Sultan Kosen, who is 8 feet tall. The tallest people we know are over 6 feet tall. Kösen does not only practice farming but also trades and plays basketball.
2. Youngest Noble Laureate
Age: 17
Record held by: Malala Yousafzai
Malala Yousafzai, at the young age of 17, dared to speak the truth in order to empower her country Pakistan where the girl child was not educated. This was met with an ultimate challenge as she was shot in the head for standing for the rights of the girl child. Luckily she survived and continued to fight for these rights as her family relocated to England. Her bravery at a young age earned her a spot in the world record book.
3. Tallest Dog in the world
Height: 44 inches
Record held by: Zeus
Zeus, . A dog that weighs about 155 pounds acquired the name from the great Greek gods that were strong. Zeus is above 44 inches when standing on four legs.
4. Tallest building in the world
Height: 828 meters above the sky
Record by: Burj Khalifa
Dubai’s Burj Khalifa reaches an incredible 828 meters up into the skies above the streets of Dubai. It was built for six years, from 2004- 2010, while its construction foundation took 4 years. Popular Hollywood movies have been shot at this building.
5. Longest moustache.
Ram Singh from Jaipur in India has the longest moustache that, measures about 14 feet. In 2010, facial hair was measured in a popular Italian Tv show 2010. The moustache hasn’t been cut for 37 years.
